Following up on the previous blog, I finished the piece of furniture that I will be using as a dresser in my guest room. It came out nice, but I really learned a lot about fixing up furniture. It is extremely important to carefully examine a piece before you buy it. Had I done this, I would have seen that this dresser was not top quality, and that it was going to take a lot of work to fix it. The construction of a piece is so important.
Two weekends ago, we went to the Science Museum with Matteo's best friend, Nathan, and his mom, Aran. They had a lot of fun, and afterward we enjoyed some adult fun- a nice cold beer! Matteo and Nathan are so cute together, we even got a pic of them hugging!

Mario and I celebrated Valentine's day one day late, on Monday. It was nice because we had the day off work, but Matteo still went to daycare. We went to the boatshow in Miami, and our friend Clayton (who happens to be a Yacht broker) to us on a bunch of the big yachts. So cool! Later that night we went and saw Avatar in 3D. It was my first 3D movie experience, and if you haven't tried it yet, I highly recommend.
This past weekend we mostly chilled. On Sunday we made it to Hollywood beach, and even though it was a little chilly, Matteo had a blast playing in the water fountains! He was so cold, he was shivering, and he still cried when I made him leave!
This Saturday, Matteo and I leave for Panama for a week. So lots of travel posts to come!
